دائما ما أثارت ألعاب المقطع المرئي العديد من الجدال نحو العثور على تقاطع أساليب بينها وبين القساوة والإجرام، وأصابع الاتهام وجهت مجددا صوب لعبة PUPG نتيجة لـ نكبة مسببة للالم في جمهورية مصر العربية.
تناقلت مواقع الإعلام ووسائل الاتصال الاجتماعي نبأ موت سيدة معلمة كيمياء بعمر 59 سنة، وتبين أن نكبة الموت كانت نتيجة لـ طعن بالسكين من قبل طالب في الصف الأول الثانوي لا يمر من السن 16 سنة.
حيث يذكر أن الطالب قام بقتلها في منزلها ضمن الاسكندرية خلال درس خصوصي، وعلى ما يظهر ذلك القاتل من مدمني لعبة PUPG وهي من أثرت على ذهنه ودفعته للقيام بذلك الإجرام وفق ما تتناقله المواقع.
عقب التقصي مع المجرم تبين أن اسمه هو سيف الدين، وقد أقر واعترف بارتكابه تلك الجناية، وأنه يمارس لعبة مقطع مرئي أونلاين على نحو سميك، وقام بعملية القتل عقب دعوة قدَح من الماء وغدر الضحية وثم الهرب تاركاً خلفه مختلَف أغراضه المخصصة.
من الملحوظ أن ثمة مرض نفسي يتجاوز به مرتكب الجناية، إلا أن هل برأيكم للعبة ارتباط حقاً بما وقع؟ فبعض الأطباء النفسيين ينبهون من خطر الإدمان على PUPG .
